A small British experimental label based in Bournemouth, Dorset, part of the international cassette-and-CD-network underground that moved experimental music between countries in the 1980s and 1990s. Notable in this archive for releasing Doc Wor Mirran first proper CD, The Music Of Blood (CI06, 1994), recorded at Joseph B. Raimond Two Car Garage Studios in Nurnberg and drawing in Asmus Tietchens, GX Jupitter-Larsen and Jello Biafra. Fifty copies went out as a numbered edition with band member Peter Schuster blood squirted behind the tray card. The Bureau files it at Tier III as a small connector node of the network rather than a scene-defining imprint.

Founded in Arizona by Justin Rodriguez as a home for experimental metal, drone and avant-garde, and closed on his death in 2013; reactivated by his friend Marcus LaBonte in 2014 and relocated to Denver in 2015. Working partly through the artist Thomas Garrison, LaBonte turned the label toward the European death-industrial and power-electronics scene, giving those projects US exposure and making Cloister one of the most active post-industrial labels of recent times. About 115-plus CRUS-prefix releases across cassette, vinyl and CD, frequently in small limited editions. The roster's clearest tie to this archive is the Trepaneringsritualen / Sutekh Hexen live LP One Hundred Year Storm (CRUS-100, 2018, with Pesanta Urfolk), alongside the Brighter Death Now No Decency US tape (2019), Alfarmania + Proiekt Hat's Astral Slaktmask (CRUS-138, 2024), The Vomit Arsonist, Skare, Moral Order, Subklinik, Michael Idehall and dB/Mz. A long-running connector node of the English post-industrial underground rather than a scene-defining imprint. Its central relationship is with Nurse With Wound, issuing both reissues and new work, most visibly the lavish 2009 vinyl box of the 1979 debut Chance Meeting on a Dissecting Table of a Sewing Machine and an Umbrella, and formalised in the United Dirter co-imprint shared with Steven Stapleton's United Dairies. Roster also includes Cut Hands, Ramleh, Andrew Liles and Band of Pain. The catalogue is weighted toward carefully-made physical objects: deluxe vinyl, picture discs, signed prints, elaborate packaging. Pittis also runs the Enconahead manufacturing operation. One of the infrastructures through which the NWW catalogue and its neighbours have reached listeners since the 1980s.

The parent Dom operated 1983–1993 with three sublabels alongside Dom Elchklang: Dom Bartwuchs (secondary vinyl), Dom America (US distribution under Jon Carlson), and 7 Elche Tape (cassettes). The cluster nomenclature is itself characteristic dadaist humour: Dom = "cathedral" (with Aachen's Carolingian-era Aachener Dom the obvious referent), Bartwuchs = "beard-growth", 7 Elche = "7 elks". The catalogue's editorial high points are deliberate Krautrock-tradition hoaxes: Damenbart's Impressionen '71 (1988, DOM EK 002) is a literal fake-Krautrock LP, and Brigitte and the Hansen Experience's Frau Hansen Am Bass (1989, DOM EK 003) features a fictional bassist. The 1993 HNAS dissolution was acrimonious and split the label cluster: Dom Elchklang continues under Khan, while Streamline emerged as Heemann's continuation.
