Christoph Heemann's reissue label, an archivist's operation that keeps a private strand of the European avant-garde in print and in good order.
Streamline is the experimental imprint of Christoph Heemann, filed by the Bureau at Tier III. Heemann, the composer behind Hirsche Nicht Aufs Sofa and a long-standing collaborator of Andrew Chalk, runs it less as a commercial label than as a custodial one: reissues and careful editions of rare and private-press avant-garde material, remastered with exactness and presented as proper objects.
The catalogue moves through the world Heemann and Chalk built, the Mirror project, drone and musique-concrète works, and the quiet abstraction of a private European lineage adjacent to Korm Plastics and the Nurse With Wound orbit. The point is preservation as much as release: keeping a particular, easily-lost strand of experimental music available and in good order.
The Bureau's reading. Streamline is filed at Tier III as the reissue and edition arm of the Heemann and Chalk world.
