§01
Preamble · what this idiom records

This page records corrections the Bureau has accepted to its own previously filed material. Each entry will identify the location of the original claim, the form in which it was originally filed, the form in which it is now filed, and a brief note on the Bureau's reasoning. The Bureau prefers visible amendments to silent ones. Where a prior wording is materially retained under strikethrough or other editorial mark, the catalogue treats the original as part of the public record; where a prior wording has been silently removed, the catalogue treats it as superseded and notes the fact here.

The Bureau reserves the right to amend its own filings without notice for typographical errors, broken links, and small infelicities. Material amendments, those that alter a factual claim, a citation, an attribution, an editorial position, or any element of the catalogue's editorial voice, are filed in this manner. The Bureau is occasionally wrong on purpose, more often wrong by accident, and willing to be corrected in either case.

§02
The palette

[ the vein is currently empty ]

Accepted amendments to filed material accrete here, dated and scoped. The register is open and currently empty.

§03
How to file a correction with the Bureau

If you have spotted an error in the catalogue, the Bureau would like to know. Corrections, additions, contested points and source citations should be filed via the submission page. Each correction is read; each is filed; not all are accepted. The ones that are accepted appear in this idiom, dated and scoped. The Bureau reserves the right to disagree with corrections it has read carefully.
