A public register of accepted amendments to previously archived material · visible where possible, dated, scoped, brief · I prefer visible amendments to silent ones · accepted amendments to archived material will accrete here
This page records corrections I have accepted to previously archived material. Each entry will identify the location of the original claim, the form in which it was originally filed, the one in which it is now filed, and a brief note on my reasoning. I prefer visible amendments to silent ones. Where a prior wording is materially retained under strikethrough or other editorial mark, the catalogue treats the original as part of the public record; where a prior wording has been silently removed, the catalogue treats it as superseded and notes the fact here.
I reserve the right to amend filings without notice for typographical errors, broken links, and small infelicities. Material amendments, those that alter a factual claim, a citation, an attribution, an editorial position, or any element of the catalogue's editorial voice, are held in this manner. I am occasionally wrong on purpose, more often wrong by accident, and willing to be corrected in either case.
One structural note. I initially wrote the essays in the third person, then switched to first person part of the way through. Reworking everything already written was a monumental task, and I eventually relegated the bulk of the changes to machine sweeps. There may be residual, awkward phrasings scattered about. These are unintentional and warrant cleaning up as and when encountered. If you see something out of place that reads weirdly, let me know. It is a huge body of work and I cannot do it alone.

If you have spotted an error in the catalogue, I would like to know. Corrections, additions, contested points and source citations should be submitted via the submission page. Each correction is read; each is kept; not all are accepted. The ones that are accepted appear in this idiom, dated and scoped. I reserve the right to disagree with corrections I have read carefully.
