the null set
The null set was found to contain two chihuahuas.
A note appended to the KK Null entry, off the record.
By definition the set named Null is the one that holds nothing. I opened it expecting nothing, in the proper mathematical spirit, and found it occupied.
The occupants are very small, alert, and entirely unbothered by the volume of the surrounding catalogue. They are among the loveliest creatures in the experimental field, and I have formed an attachment that exceeds this archive's usual remit.
